Hezena Lemaletian also known as ‘Queen of the North’ came into the limelight recently. It was at ODM leader Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja Campaign launch in Kasarani. Her passion lies in home renovations, as well as designing and decor.
She was well dressed with Maasai-inspired accessories. Hezena is The Vijana na Raila youth leader. She delivered an outstanding speech that had bold political sentiments.
She has since become the talk on many social media platforms. Which has helped her gain much-needed popularity so as to kick start her political career.
On the other hand, she had the pleasure of escorting Odinga to the podium to deliver his much-awaited speech. Raila Odinga declared his 2022 presidential bid.
While lauding the ODM leader, the Vijana na Raila Secretary-General left the crowd excited and craving for more after her short speech.

Hezena announced she would be vying for Samburu’s Woman Representative come 2022.
“Pia mimi nawania kiti cha woman representative, Samburu county. Naitwa Queen of the North.”
Hezena Lemaletian is the Rift Valley Peace Champion
Hezena was born and bred in Samburu County. She attended Milimani Primary School in Maralal. Afterwards, she enrolled at St. Theresa Girls High School.
She excelled in her secondary school education and admitted to the University of Nairobi. She studied Bachelor of Finance.
Hezena is the Global Peace Ambassador as well as a Goodwill, Culture, and Charity Ambassador for the Commonwealth. She used this prestigious position to champion the rights of her Samburu society.
Lemaletian is the Rift Valley Peace Champion. She is also the founder of the Pastoralists Sports Initiative that economically empowers the youth through sports and culture. Its aim is to create peace and cohesion.
She recently graced an international arena as a speaker at the 2021 African Women Summit. The event held in Dubai also hosted the Vice President of Liberia H.E Jewel Howard Taylor.
She draws her inspiration from Ilhan Omar, the Minnesota, US Congress Representative.
