The Madoadoa Remark Aftermath

“We’ve seen instances where the opposition leader Raila Odinga tell young people to fire. And to prepare themselves with guns and bullets. No action has been taken against him.

We’ve seen Governor Kimemia who allied himself to Raila Odinga make reference to the same term madoadoa. And no action has been taken against him.”

Kang’ata also adds that despite leaders who support the ODM leader making biased remarks. No one from the DPP’S office or even that of the JSC takes action.

According to him despite the fact that Linturi must face the law, the same needs to happen to other leaders. So as to avoid misinterpreting the law.

The continuous back and forth between leaders continues even after Linturi apologized. He also explained that people wrongly interpreted his remarks. According to him, he wanted to urge and seek the UDA supporters to do it fully.

This occurs as political leaders, netizens, and also IEBC continue to make plans for the general election. Set to take place almost seven months from now.
